Public
Engagement

Gabe is committed to building meaningful engagement with all of our county's communities.

Many people in our communities feel disconnected from the decisions that take place at the county level. Also, the county's relationships with our cities could be much stronger. Gabe will make sure the county holds a Town Hall meeting in every city at least once per year. He'll also set at least one evening board meeting a month, so that people who work during the day have a chance to be heard.

Climate
Action

Our county has made steps, but more is needed. Gabe will make our climate response a priority.

Climate change is real, and Gabe is passionate about it. In fact, this is one of the issues that made him decide to run for public office in the first place. Gabe will review our county's existing Climate Action Plan and work on adding solid commitments to help our communities safely navigate the new normal. For starters, this means working on our preparedness for wildfire, flooding, and heat waves.

Affordable
Housing

As commissioner, Gabe will partner with cities on solutions to ease our housing crisis.

Housing is an issue on many people's minds. Whether it's the price of buying a home, the monthly cost of renting, the experience of houselessness, or the many impacts that houselessness has on a neighborhood, no one is unaffected. Gabe will work with cities on the big picture, partnering on initiatives and allocating state dollars to support holistic programs that ease the crisis at every level.

Gabe's priorities for public office will support the needs of all our communities.
